Attention Seekers.

As I was mapling in one of those tireless nights or maybe dawns, I thought of this topic.

The topic is, everyone in this world, is constantly seeking for attention of others or people surrounding them.

However, once someone overdo it, he/she will be labelled.
E.g. if a girl seeks too much attention, people might say her being "flirty".
if a guy seeks too much attention, then he might be known to be MCP, or being too self centered.

This does not appear in the case of seeking attention, it is for every case. Just like being good and bad can be separated by only a thin line.

Just a thought, maybe people who blogged are seeking attention certainly.

WAH LAU!! So KIASU!!!

After learning the fact that booking for badminton court at any Sports Hall starts on every Tuesday 7am, I reckon the "difficulty" that lies ahead.

At 7 am sharp, I logged in to the Singapore Sports Council Website, and yes.... it hanged.
Clicking Back , and Refresh several times, at 7.06 I managed to log into the booking system.
I got my booking for my friend.

What does this tell me? ALL SINGAPOREANS ARE SO KIASU, confirmed. I bet everyone rushed into the system at 7 SHARP! Yes as the saying goes "If you can't beat them, join them."

So this will mean that there will only be more and more Kiasu Singaporeans since someone started rolling the snowball.

Oh well, I will say "In order to beat them to it, be a part of them!"

Badminton updates~

Heh since my Industrial Attachment, I started learning badminton.
Never would I expect myself to be attracted to the sports.

Mainly, I like sports with the kind of Strategic play needed.
Certainly, I'm still not a very good player but learning hard.

Tonight, I went down to Hougang CC and played with my friend's colleague.
They are fast and experienced players, I was nervous at first.
And yep, first game doubles, my team lost... think I was the culprit, played too lousily.

But eventually I began to settle down playing with all these good players, and won 2 games.
There was this uncle who partner with me in the game, he praised my play in front of the net is excellent, but I lack the strokes needed when playing at the baseline.

Thus, he gave me a few pointers, and I think it is indeed helpful. I always like to know how each or some players think and read the game, so I can instill myself with such knowledge and decision making while playing! Think I'm just crazy over the game.

My friend's colleague said this to me," You can't improve if you played with novice players."
I know that it is the sad truth, but think this way, if good players don't play with novice, then in a way, I can't find the way to improve too. An ironic sentence. (well maybe just a delimma )

Defender Centre (Centre Back) , Defensive Midfielder

Yes, these are the two position I'm having a regular place now in my team.
Last Sunday, despite suffering from lack of sleep after over-mapling, I went and played for my team in the morning.

After a long absence from my team practice, I would expect myself not playing up to my standard. Things did not turn out that way, instead I played very well on Sunday.

As a Centre-back, I cleared danger several times, clean tackled my opponents every time they run at me. What can I say more, well, for more descriptive efforts, I will say ,
" I won the ball in every tackle, and took the man down too."

Despite my outstanding performance, my team lost 4-0 in the end.
Our team only have about 4 persons playing well, including me. I think our team needs a little re-grouping.

Hehe for the past three or four days after my IA, I had been mapling.
For those who don't know what is the term "mapling", it is an online game known as Maplestory.
The Global Maplestory server for the East side countries had been removed, sadly, my previous account was gone too.
However, they had set up MapleSEA server for all South East Asia Countries!

Alright since I had unveiled what I had been doing, some of you might have known that I sort of played 24/7 on it. Well, to explain 24/7 , it simply means 24hours a day, 7days a week.. practically a term for "whole day long".
WELL, I still get to do my domestic grooming. Don't worry.

Yes, the game can be quite monotonous after quite some time, whatever drives me on is simply to rush my character's level up... to 70 preferably.

In other words, it kinda explains why I didn't reply to some of your msn messages ^___^.

Some "recent" films that are great and I had watched were Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Batman Begins, and now................. INITIAL D!

Heh going to catch the heat up action soon in this coming friday, two days later to be exact.
Saw its cool trailer on theatre, great manouveurs (did i get this word wrong?) and cool acting JAY CHOW.

Guess many will be fanatic over him, and hope the film don't disappoint!

It's a Fathers' Day.

Happy Fathers' Day!

Deep within my heart, I long to say it out to my dad, but I didn't.
Guess it's because it isn't his real birthday.

I took the opportunity to buy a tub of Napolitean flavor ice cream for him.
He is enjoying it as I heard his praises sang in the living room.

What I was told...

Recently, I met one of my friends who have been working already.
She had been picking up activities such as pool, badminton, rollerblading, dancing, piano lessons etc.
And I am quite shock to hear that. Of course, envious too.

So I asked her what ignited her to do all these...
and she replied," I feel that my life is too "horizontal", too flat,..."
"I don't want to look back after I am older and realise that I should have tried so many stuffs when I was young."

Not hard to understand at all, i guess "horizontal" describes the life that is safe and smooth, no tides and turns, and to a certain extent, no life- to her.
Personally, I also feel my life being too horizontal, if that is the meaning to it.
But I don't find thrills risking my life, I feel that life is the most important "requisite" to be on earth. Well stating the obvious, but it's true. Though it sounds like a game, life certainly seems to be a game.

Seen those first person view games such as Counter strike, Star Wars Jedi Academy etc?
Yes, it is like what everyone has been looking out from his/her eyes. Moving around, looking at things, sceneries, and yes, you and me. Sometimes, I just tried to imagine looking out from another person's position of view, it is quite hard to imagine, as mainly our whole life we seem to be the only one "feeling", who can "see", who can "hear", who can "smell", who can "taste".

Who is that person sitting opposite of you? What is he/she looking at? Is he/she feeling happy?
Is he/she sure of what he's/she's speaking? All these questions... remained "understooded" as some of you might said, but it is not confirmed.

When you watched the news showing someone at the other side of the world in pain and agony such as having his leg blown off by an explosion, do you actually try to "feel" the type of pain that man was going through? Or simply watch, and "feel sad" for the person, change channel, and watch some other variety shows.

I think life is more than getting and bringing in excitement for yourself, it took about 5 years for one to start "knowing" that he is alive since borned, took a lifetime to understand what's life is all about. Even though human knowledge is so vast that no one would be able to acquire it in a lifetime, it is just a small tip of an ice berg.

Think more, feel more, there's more purposes in life.

what should i do in the coming holidays?

Well, had thought of going on a tour to HK with my sis and aunt,
exercise regularly for the whole month,
start to learn driving,
going onto rollerblading,
continue having badminton and table tennis sessions,
play maple till level 70,
play and study GO,
continue to play soccer at weekends,
play pool if got people jio... ...

I don't have that much holidays Woh

No No! After my I.A duration of 6months, I haf about only a month of break.
Well, I do intend to get some part time jobs, or maybe give tuition.
Otherwise, I will be at home RUSHING maplestory hehe!

Well there's always an alternative, I am going to draw some designs and print them on T-shirts ^__^V

But right now, I'm a sick man.
I hope I will be well in two days time, can't wait to get my hands on the badminton racket!
And yes, MARK come on, face me with a racket! See ya on the court!

Ah the Beginning of the End...

It is coming to an end for my Industrial attachment, I had to correct my report, and make sure i took photos with everyone who took care of me during the period. I still had a unaccomplished project at hand, well, it is too difficult for me, or I'm too lazy to be bothered by it.

It is going to be the beginning of a new semester. That brings me to the registration date I was told by my friend last night. This thursday, fastest finger first, we will be grabbing our slots at NTU. Hopefully I get to see everyone again. I had to meet up with my tutor as well for FYP to get an idea on how to start off the project...

Hope I will still get chances to meet up with the people at my workplace, and also plan gatherings for all my group of friends.

And not to forget, Dave boy and Ah lip + Markie, we have to meet again somehow.

These few days had been rather boring. So i bought myself some animes and movies to watch, there are Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, 三岔口 and some Japanese TV series.
I even began to search out for new comics to collect, which I had mentioned earlier in my post.

Worse, these only kept me accompany for at most a day. So I did an IQ test and some personality test too to kill time. Well if any of you are interested, here is the address for the IQ test:

I didn't know that a stupid me got such high IQ... anyway, there are a lot of interesting questions inside the Ultimate IQ test.

Then my friend sent me an email attached with a personality test which i just took it.

One of the Greatest Comic I have come across...

After following the comic 棋灵王，the artist has drawn another new comic, and it is ONE of the BEST I have ever read! The drawing is as good as the previous comic, if not, even better! And the story line is superb!

Oh yes, I forgot to tell the name of the comic!
Welcome to the world of "DEATHNOTE", aka 死神笔记簿.
The setting is in the present world, where a genius student (top of japan) picked up a "deathnote" during one of his school days.

This deathnote book belongs to a death god, who had the book lost in the human world and has come back to find it. The deathgod being boring, had pre-written the instructions for using the deathnote in the first few pages...

According to it, the names of those who is written in the deathnote will die after 40seconds, however the user has to obtain the image in his mind while writing the name (to prevent killing of people of the same name). The cause of death can be written down and it will happen, otherwise, if not mentioned, the person will die of heart attack by default.
There are many other rules in using this book, some are revealed as the student, Yagami, began to discover its usage and power.

He began to plot "cleansing" the world with his new sought ability by killing hardcore criminals. And had attracted the best detective in the world to take up the case to seize him. The detective is "L", as highly intelligent as Yagami, both genius began to think psychologically and tactful methods to find out each other's identity... ... in order to KILL the other party.

The story had some meaningful ideals to convey: One who believes that killing the bad is justice; the other believes that justice is not by the way of killing.
WATCH the two young guys narrowing their search to draw each other's presence closer, read how they read each other's mind and employ their defence and attack!

Behold, the even better than all other detectives' story, instilled with great plots and logical explanation for each moves taken.... Deathnote is a comic not to be missed out by any comic lovers!
